So Fertitta went big. Now, when investors at Citigroup bet on him, his strategy is helping reshape Houston and make many businesses of brick-and-mortar chains much, much cheaper, more available and accessible too. In 2013 Fertitta acquired Tilman Fertitta Real, his old chain Lefeburg Spirits' historic wine-shopping empire. Since then Citigroup has partnered Cititify Real in other areas.
